Mezzacorona is a historic cooperative winery founded in Trentino in 1904 by thirteen winegrowers. Today, it brings together approximately 1,500 families who tend vineyards surrounded by unspoilt valleys, mountains and Alpine lakes. Its production showcases the region’s most representative grape varieties through careful management of the entire supply chain, from grape selection to bottling. Cooperative tradition, respect for nature and a constant pursuit of quality create harmonious, elegant and aromatic wines that authentically express the character of Trentino.
Aged Grappa is a refined blend of grappas made from Teroldego, Pinot Nero and Traminer grape marc sourced from the winery’s own vineyards. The marc is carefully selected and distilled according to the traditional Trentino bain-marie method. Ageing for 25 months in oak casks gives the spirit an elegant amber colour and a rich, enveloping aromatic profile. The nose reveals intense notes of vanilla, custard and dried stone fruit, while the palate is velvety and rounded, with gentle alcoholic warmth and a pleasant freshness that maintains its balance. The result is a grappa with broad, elegant aromas, warm yet austere, expressing both the noble character of the grape varieties and the complexity developed during its extended ageing.
