Format

Ruby red color with garnet reflections. The nose is broad and ethereal, with floral notes of wild rose and a fruity hint of wild strawberry. On the palate it is full and enveloping, with soft tannins and still pleasant acidity.

Name: Barolo D.O.C.G.

Grapes: 100% Nebbiolo

Production area: Verduno/La Morra/Barolo/Grinzane Cavour, Langhe, Cuneo, Piedmont

Training system: Guyot counter-espalier

Hand-harvested in crates: manual in box with selection of the best bunches

Winemaking: destemming and delicate pressing of the bunches which are subjected to alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel winemakers at a controlled temperature. At the same time, maceration takes place on the skins, where the noble components of the grape (colour, aromas and tannins) are extracted. The maceration lasts about 15 days during which the operations of pumping the must over the pomace cap favor this extraction

Refinement: after racking, aging takes place in wood for approximately 24 months. During the first 12 months the wine matures in small 30 and 60 hl Slavonian oak barrels; while in the following 12 months the refinement continues in large traditional Slavonian oak barrels in which the characteristics of finesse and elegance are enhanced. The complete expression
of the wine is obtained after a period of at least 12 months of rest in the bottle

Alcohol content: 14% - Contains sulphites

Serving temperature: 18°C
