FERNET BORDIGA

Bordiga is a historic Piedmontese distillery founded in Cuneo in 1888 by Cavaliere Pietro Bordiga, a herbalist with extensive knowledge of Alpine botanicals and Eastern spices. For more than a century, it has produced liqueurs and spirits according to original recipes and artisanal methods passed down through generations. Many of its herbs and botanicals are hand-picked in the Occitan Valleys and processed separately through slow maceration and distillation. Remaining true to its roots, Bordiga continues to use its traditional wood-fired still, creating authentic specialities deeply connected to the Alpine region.
Bordiga Fernet is produced entirely in Cuneo, an area renowned for the quality of its ingredients and artisanal heritage. This natural bitter herbal liqueur is made from a carefully selected blend of medicinal herbs, processed according to the original historic recipe. Its bold yet balanced character and pleasantly persistent flavour make it ideal enjoyed neat, over ice or with coffee. True to Bordiga’s philosophy, every liqueur is created to delight the palate, body and mind through the use of fine aromatic herbs, pure alcohol, sugar and clear Alpine spring water. The production process remains faithful to historic Italian recipes, still prepared using the same artisanal methods that define the distillery’s excellence.
