Deep, intense purple red in colour. The nose is rich, intense and harmonious, with characteristic notes of blackcurrant and very ripe cherry, beautifully integrated with the spicy nuances imparted by oak ageing. Powerful and impressively structured on the palate, with well-defined yet refined tannins.

Harvest: picked by hand into crates in late September

Vinification: the grapes are destemmed and undergo alcoholic fermentation on the skins for 12 days at 26–27°C. Malolactic fermentation takes place in tanks using selected bacteria

Ageing: in French oak barriques for several months

Alcohol content: 13.5% – Contains sulphites

Serving temperature: 16–18°C
