GIN CIAIS PREMIUM SMOKE

Produced entirely in Cuneo, an area renowned for the quality of raw materials and artisan tradition. Ciais Premium Smoke Gin is part of the Bordiga “Small Batch” Premium Gin range. This distillate represents the excellence of Italian craftsmanship. Produced in limited quantities using a traditional wood-fired copper still, it is obtained from a selection of fine botanicals, including juniper berries subjected to delicate smoking before distillation. A process born by chance, when a batch of berries was accidentally left next to a charcoal pit: the smoky aroma obtained won over the master distillers, who decided to experiment with its use in gin. The result is a unique distillate of its kind: slightly amber colour, intense aroma of spices with floral and citrus hints, fresh and balanced taste with a distinctly smoky aftertaste, which makes it ideal both in purity and in creative mixing.
