Deep ruby red in colour. The bouquet is complex, intense and refined, with aromas of plum, cherry, almond, spices and liquorice. Full-bodied, remarkably persistent and elegant on the palate, echoing the bouquet with pronounced notes of red fruit, spices and balsamic nuances.

Grape varieties: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara
Production area: between Lake Garda, the Lessini Mountains and the Adige Valley, Verona, Veneto
Training systems: Veronese pergola and Guyot
Harvest: picked by hand into crates in early October
Vinification: destemming and gentle crushing of the lightly dried grapes, followed by fermentation and skin maceration in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Once fermentation is complete, the wine remains in stainless steel until March. It then undergoes the traditional ripasso process, refermenting on Amarone and Recioto pomace for approximately 7–8 days
Ageing: in small French and American oak barrels for 18 months
Alcohol content: 14.5% – Contains sulphites
