Straw yellow in colour. The complex bouquet opens with a subtle smoky note that quickly gives way to aromas of ripe and candied fruit. Buttery, long and persistent on the palate, with remarkable structure and minerality. Richness and acidity are harmoniously balanced, while the finish reveals a pleasant note of ripe grapes.

Grape variety: 100% Turbiana

Production area: Vigna Antica Bragagna, Borghetta vineyard, Lugana di Sirmione, Brescia, Lombardy

Training system: vertical trellising with Guyot pruning

Harvest: picked by hand into crates in late September

Vinification: manual selection of the grapes, followed by cooling and gentle pressing. The must then undergoes cold static settling and fermentation in stainless-steel tanks at a low temperature for 10–12 days

Ageing: secondary maturation in previously used barriques, where the wine ages for 12 months, followed by at least 6 months of bottle ageing

Alcohol content: 13.5% – Contains sulphites

Serving temperature: 12–15°C
