Deep ruby red in colour with violet hues. The nose reveals spicy notes, red fruit, hints of forest floor and aromas of plum preserve. Dry, full-bodied and harmonious on the palate, with moderate tannins.

Grape variety: 100% Rebo, a cross between Merlot and Teroldego named after the Trentino agronomist Rebo Rigotti
Production area: Montecorno, Desenzano del Garda, Brescia, Lombardy
Training system: row-trained vines with Guyot pruning
Harvest: picked by hand into crates in September
Vinification: the grapes are destemmed and gently crushed, followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. A 24–48-hour pre-fermentation cold maceration is followed by pump-overs and délestage, or rack-and-return. Malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel
Ageing: in French oak barriques for 24–36 months, followed by 12 months of bottle ageing
Alcohol content: 14.5% – Contains sulphites
