Founded in Tuscany by a family with deep agricultural roots, this artisanal company combines tradition and quality in the production of organic dried pasta. For three generations, the Bertoli family has grown its own durum wheat on the unspoilt hills of Santa Luce, following the principles of sustainable agriculture and complete supply-chain traceability. In addition to its artisanal organic short-supply-chain pasta, made from its own durum wheat and carefully processed to enhance its organoleptic qualities and digestibility, the company also produces extra virgin olive oil, organic honey and pasta seasoning mixes. Its production philosophy is based on full traceability, respect for biodiversity and the enhancement of agricultural raw materials, offering an integrated range of authentic products.
Bertoli Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a superior-category olive oil obtained directly from olives and solely by mechanical means. It is cold-extracted at temperatures below 26°C and has a free acidity, expressed as oleic acid, of less than 0.8%. It is produced from Moraiolo, Frantoio, Leccino and Pendolino olive varieties, harvested by hand during October and November. This oil is characterised by excellent organoleptic qualities and is highly versatile, making it ideal for a wide variety of dishes and preparations.
