Deep red in colour with garnet highlights. The nose reveals aromas of blackcurrant and cassis accompanied by herbaceous notes. Concentrated on the palate, with hints of vanilla, pronounced tannins and excellent persistence.

Training system: Guyot trellising

Harvest: picked by hand into crates

Vinification: fermentation in stainless-steel tanks for approximately 12 days

Ageing: in new French oak barriques for 24 months, followed by 12 months in a 40 hl oak cask

Alcohol content: 14% – Contains sulphites
