PIAN ALTO RED WINE BERICI HILLS RISERVA DOC

Pian Alto Colli Berici DOC is carved in rock. In its body takes shape all the gradation typical of a good Cabernet.

Twenty days of grape drying make it muscular.

An intense red warrior wine of excellent length.

Grape variety: Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere

Production area: Sarego, Vicenza

Yield per hectare: 60-70 hl

Training system: Guyot espalier with 5000 vines per hectare

Harvest: Manual in boxes

Vinification: Fermentation in steel for about 12 days.

Ageing: In new French oak barriques for 24 months and in 40hl oak casks for 12 months

Organoleptic characteristics: Intense red colour with garnet reflections. Aromas of blackcurrant and cassis with herbaceous notes. Concentrated on the palate with vanilla tones, perceptible tannicity and excellent length.

Pairing: Red meats, grilled meats and mature cheeses.

Production: 9,000 bottles (750 ml)

Alcohol content: 14%.
