Casa Iuorio's products are born from respect for the natural rhythms of the earth and seasonality. Cultivation takes place in the open field, without intensive practices, greenhouses, or chemical agents, using exclusively native varieties. The harvest is manual and the transformation takes place directly on the farm, selecting only perfectly ripe raw materials. Even the potting and labeling phases are artisanal, a guarantee of a controlled supply chain and authentic products that are an expression of the territory.
PiccantOlio is a superior category extra virgin olive oil obtained directly from olives and solely by mechanical processes. It is cold extracted (< 27°C) and the free acidity, expressed as oleic acid, is less than 0.8%. Afterwards, chili pepper is added. Olives grown on the Salerno hills are used. It is an excellent condiment for first courses and soups; it gives a strong flavor to every preparation.
