Casa Iuorio's products are born from respect for the natural rhythms of the earth and seasonality. Cultivations take place in the open field, without intensive practices, greenhouses or chemical agents, using exclusively native varieties. The harvest is manual and the transformation takes place directly in the company, selecting only perfectly ripe raw materials. Even the potting and labeling phases are artisanal, guaranteeing a controlled supply chain and authentic products, an expression of the territory.
“I Piccoli” artichokes are an artisanal specialty, made with small artichoke hearts grown in the open field in the lands of Palomonte, in Campania, and processed entirely by hand immediately after harvesting. Each artichoke is carefully finished to obtain only the tenderest heart, then preserved in extra virgin olive oil with simple and natural ingredients, without preservatives or colorings. With a delicate flavor but rich in Mediterranean character, they are ideal for refined appetizers, gourmet aperitifs, cold cuts and cheese platters or as an accompaniment to selected raw ham and crunchy artisan breadsticks.
Ingredients
Artichokes 55%, extra virgin olive oil 43%, whole sea salt, white wine vinegar (contains sulphites), spicy chili pepper, bay leaf, garlic, oregano.
Store in a cool, dry place, do not expose to sunlight. After opening, keep in the refrigerator at a temperature of 5°C for a maximum of 1 month, filling the product with oil.
