Zabauda is the Savoy colomba that combines the softness of the traditional colomba with the creaminess of the Zabà, the zabaione prepared with genuine ingredients according to the traditional recipe. A combination that celebrates the Piedmontese roots and transforms a great Easter classic into a convivial and refined experience, capable of embodying the Piedmontese tradition.
Ingredients
Dove: flour wheat, candied orange peel 22% (orange peel, sugar, glucose syrup-fructose, natural flavourings), egg yolkegg, butter, cane sugar, natural yeast (flour wheat, water), emulsifier: mono and diglycerides of fatty acids; invert sugar syrup, glucose-fructose syrup, maltbarley, salt, flavourings.
Icing: sugar, almonds, egg whiteegg, “Nocciola Piemonte I.G.P.” 1%, kernels, rice flour. May contain more nuts, mustard e soy.
Zabà: sugar, Marsala D.O.P. wine, (containing sulphites), yolk d'egg fresh from free-range hens Cat. A (24%), rice starch.
Sachet of icing sugar (8.6%): sugar and starch wheat.
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light. Once opened, the zaba should be stored in the refrigerator at +4°C and consumed within 5 days.
