Alongside these proposals, Zabaudo is also born, the panettone accompanied by a jar of Zabà, the zabaione prepared with fresh eggs, Italian sugar and Marsala according to the traditional recipe. A combination that unites two great symbols of the Italian confectionery tradition, transforming the festive moment into a convivial and refined experience, where the softness of panettone meets the creaminess and intensity of zabaglione.
Ingredients
Panettone: wheat flour, sultanas 15%, egg yolk, candied orange peel 11% (orange peel,
glucose-fructose syrup, sugar), butter, sugar, natural sourdough (wheat flour, water), emulsifier: mono- and di-glycerides of fatty acids; glucose-fructose syrup, invert sugar syrup, barley malt, salt, natural flavourings. May contain nuts, mustard and soy.
Zabà: sugar, Marsala DOP wine, (containing sulphites), fresh egg yolk from free-range hens Cat. A (24%), rice starch.
Sachet of icing sugar (8.6%): sugar and wheat starch.
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light. Once opened, the zaba should be stored in the refrigerator at +4°C and consumed within 5 days.
